The Swiss Association of Professional Voiceover Artists was founded in 1990 and today comprises around 265 members.
Its goal is to protect the interests of its members. The VPS offers professional training, coaching sessions and legal advice. It promotes networking among members, issues recommendations and provides advice on tariffs. It cultivates relationships with studios, producers, advertising agencies and other employers in the spirit of partnership. It also engages with professional organizations of similar orientation, networks with international professional associations and takes part in the public discussion of relevant topics.
